NomoGaia needed a nonprofit website that could present complex human rights content in a way that felt credible, polished, and easy to use. Working in a space that demands both authority and clarity, the organization needed a custom website that could support sophisticated information, respected global clients, and a growing digital resource library—without overwhelming the user. We created a professional WordPress website experience that brings structure, readability, and visual refinement to a mission-driven brand doing important international work.
From a web design and UX perspective, we rebuilt the experience to feel cleaner, more modern, and far more intentional. We refined page layouts, typography, spacing, calls-to-action, and content hierarchy so visitors can move through the site with greater ease, whether they are exploring NomoGaia’s work, learning about its human rights approach, or accessing thought leadership and supporting materials. The result is a custom nonprofit web design that feels elevated and strategic while still remaining approachable, informative, and highly usable across desktop and mobile.
A standout feature of the project is the custom Resources section, which required a highly tailored content architecture and advanced filtering experience. We designed and developed a stylized resource library system that allows users to sort and discover content through multiple criteria, including resource type, regulatory element, industry, geography, and date. This was not an off-the-shelf setup—it involved a deeply customized WordPress filtering system with structured taxonomies, custom post organization, front-end usability planning, and design styling that made a complex database of information feel intuitive, elegant, and accessible.
Behind the scenes, the build required substantial strategy and technical execution. We developed an SEO-ready website structure with clear page hierarchy, strong internal organization, responsive layout behavior, optimized content templates, and a scalable framework for ongoing growth. We also implemented the foundations needed for long-term search visibility, including on-page SEO best practices, crawlable architecture, metadata support, image handling, and structured content planning. The final result is a custom WordPress nonprofit website that better reflects NomoGaia’s authority, supports its human rights mission, and makes a sophisticated body of work easier for users to explore, understand, and engage with.
